AUSTRALIA Cairns (pronounced cans)is the jumping off point for diving the Coral Sea and the Great Barrier Reef
BELIZE Belize is an English speaking country with a parlimentary government and their dollar is tied to the US dollar - $2.00BZ = $1.00US. The best diving is out around the three atolls: Turneffe, Lighthouse and Glovers.
Black Bird Caye This is a small, all inclusive resort, on an island on the east side of Turneffe Atoll.
Lighthouse The famous Blue Hole is in Lighthouse Atoll. Long Caye in the southern end of the Atoll is being developed. This is where I will live part time.
San Pedro Town The cental resort area for divers as well as non-divers is on Ambergris Caye. Here is where I have made many friends and will live part time.
BONAIRE Bonaire is noted for its spectacular diving accessible from shore and has protected it's dive sites by allowing no achoring. There are moorings at all dive sites.
CALIFORNIA Cold water kelp diving is like nothing else in the world.
FIJI The tiny fish fill the water the way confetti fills the air in a New York ticker tape parade.
FLORIDA Key Largo is the center of the keys diving activity,
HAWAII I've spent time on three of the five main islands.
MALAYSIA To swim into a school of Baracuda that stretches as far as you can see in three directions is awesome and only one of the many wonders to be experienced.
MEXICO Cozumel Originally famous for its drift diving it now is more noted for the many cruise ships that dock daily.
Puerto Vallarta About halft the population are expats or snowbirds; people who live half the year in PV and the other half in the cold country, mostly Canada.
PALAU With reef hooks firmly planted in rocks, a line of divers flap on the end of 5' ropes, looking like banners at a used car lot.
